Aoi is a half-sister to Nana, who also comes to us Nippo-registered from Japan. She is elegantly formed in the Nippo style, and sports a pretty black and tan coat with crisp urajiro markings. Aoi's eyes are nicely almond-shaped, as favored in the Nippo standard, and they are a lovely, dark color. She is the shiba-equivalent of a perfect geisha girl.

Although timid from her arrival from Japan, she has blossomed since being with us at Koyote Kennels. I am sure that she and her sister Nana must feel that this is shiba heaven, with all the free room to run and play! Many thanks to our friend Yumi for all her efforts to bring Aoi and her sister to us. They are a valuable addition to our Nippo lines.
